Costs. Link model data directly to the RS-Means construction database, enabling accurate, updated data for building components costs to be used on the fly. The process of extracting specific cost data requires first defining the desired geographic cost database and then isolating the specific building components from the model.

Scope. Facilitates combining groups of model objects and components at different levels (thus defining specific scopes) which then are quantified and ultimately budgeted in the model. In this way this function facilitates the identification of different levels of objects (object oriented), and once objects are identified then quantities are assigned in the model providing the overall scope to be budgeted.

Budget. Relates directly to Scope: once a particular scope is defined (group of model objects and their specific quantities) then this function links the scope to the cost database (RS-Means) generating a budget for this scope.

Calculate. Create partial budgetary units by adding the additional means and methods (labor, transportation, equipment, etc) that comprise typical construction budgetary units. This module is useful for integrating ad-hoc data into the model so that all costs can be addressed.
